🍜 Vancouver noodle shop closes and rebrands amid wage allegations - Sip Bowl La Mian, a popular hand-pulled noodle spot in Vancouver, has closed both their Kerrisdale and Richmond locations. Both outposts have switched names, which surfaced allegations of the management withholding staff wages.

Why it matters: This rebranding raises concerns about transparency and fair treatment of staff in the local restaurant industry. Although Kerrisdale has completely changed its management, some online say the Richmond one is still related to the previous owner.
