3.🇮🇹 Elio Volpe announced - Savio Volpe’s carefree cousin brings sunny, southern Italian flavours to Cambie Village this winter.

4.🥖 Mangia's Sandwiches Coming to South Granville - New deli spot by the creators of Jo’s Italian Deli.

5.🍷 New tapa bar landing on the Drive - Mediterranean-inspired tapas and cocktails spot with neat branding, Pax Romana, is opening soon.

6.🍛 WA! CURRY Bids Farewell - The downtown curry spot to shut down as of September 29th, focusing on new ventures and in-house offerings at Aburi.

7.🔥 OG Gyu-kaku quietly died - a community member spotted the longtime West Broadway Gyu-kaku (since 2013) is being replaced by another yakiniku spot called Homura.

8.🥖Landowne getting new bakery - Popular Chinese bakery, Maxim’s is opening a new storefront nearby the mall’s T&T entrance.

9.🍵 Richmond Bubble Tea Spot Closes - One Tea bids farewell after less than a year at Union Square, Richmond’s bubble tea hub.

10.☠️ Cursed spot is cursed - unlucky spot continues its streak as Foodie Kitchen at Aberdeen Centre is spotted to be closed.

11.💀 Another BBT down - Taan Char BBT at Crystal Mall is spotted to be replaced soon by a Fresh Slice.
