Welcome to the April 12th edition of Noms Mag weekly run-down!

Some real talk before we get into the thiccc of things…

We’ve been getting several DMs and emails about how sad they are seeing so many closure restaurant reports from us.

Unfortunately, it is the current state of the local food industry. Prices for ingredients and leases are whack.

However, there are tons of new spots opening up, but it doesn’t help that the city has so much red tape that many owners are stuck for 5-8 months.

So the optics look like WAY MORE spots are closing and very little opening up…but many spots are just waiting to open or even get started with renovations.
